We have always done our best to recycle in our store but we have recently joined forces with the Compost Posse to begin collecting materials for composting. Combining the composting with our recycling efforts, we have been able to drop how much we send to the landfill by 85% (in comparison to no recycling at all)! We are very excited about this project, so when you don’t see a waste can, don’t panic, we are just doing everything we can for the environment.
And don’t forget, buying a used book is a great way to help the environment, too. We have hundreds of great kids and adult selections that are in great shape and cost half of normal retail costs. Help the environment; help your wallet and your mind. Not bad for one book.
